11 Days Birdwatching Safari in Northern Tanzania
The Safari
Andy with his wife and father enjoyed a full immersion of bird watching in February 2024.
Departing from Mr. Kilimanjaro Airport and heading to Tarangire National Park the first day they stays for a total of 2 1/2 days visiting the different areas of the park looking for different bird species.
The second highlight was heading to Ngorongoro Crater and staying for 2 nights and exploring the surroundings.
After Ngorongoro Said moved to the Serengeti National Park and Seronera region first for another two nights. Also in this area the sightings were very interesting.
Than moved into the Serengeti National park but in the Ndutu area to see not only plenty of birds but also the great migration being in this region in february.
The very last night was on top of the Rift Valley with a great view on Lake Manyara prior to head back to Arusha for an internal flight to Dar Es Salaam.
